Information We Collect

We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We request information from you on our contract and ticket sales forms. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). During online orders we will collect (and may retain) any personally identifying information, such as your name, street address, email address, and phone number, and any other information you provide. We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies, email address, name, all information sent in other fields will be sent to us through either our web server or a 3rd party email system. This data is not shared with any 3rd parties unless it is necessary to complete your inquiry.

News Letter Form and Service

Your email address and name is collected with your consent. This information will be used to generate email news letters using a third party service. Your information will not be sold to, shared with, or used by other entities. You are opting into ongoing email communications with The Woodworking Shows. You may opt out/unsubscribe to our news letter at anytime. This will remove you from our email lists. You may resubscribe at anytime.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How we protect your data

All data transmitted or received information, files, financial data, and media is transferred using encryption. Financial data is not stored on our server for security.  Financial transaction occur via Authorized.net. Visit their site for detailed information over how customer data is used and what data is retained by their gateway and processing services. We encrypt data using SSL – “a cryptographic protocols designed to provide communications security over a computer network. Several versions of the protocols find widespread use in applications such as web browsing, email, instant messaging, and voice over IP.”

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the event we are notified about a data breach through our webhost, email service, payment gateway/processor, or other service we will access who has been affected and notify those individuals.
