Call for entries! Whatever you build, whatever your passion, whatever level of workmanship, whatever your age, The Woodworking Shows audience wants to see what you've been working on. Please share your favorite project with us!Projects can be entered in either the adult or youth (under 18) division on either Friday or Saturday morning, before the show opens. All day Saturday, show attendees have the chance to vote for Most Creative, Best Workmanship, Best Finish, and their Overall Favorite in each division. In addition, our educators--the talented seminar speakers--will get to examine the pieces up close and personal and cast their votes as well. Every entrant will receive a goodie bag full of nice gifts, and the winners will receive prizes from Bosch, Lee Valley, Chidwick School of Fine Woodworking, and more. Winners are announced at 5 PM on Saturday in the Wood Magazine booth. You do not need to be present to win.
If you would like to put your project on display please let us know via email (at least two days before the show, please) what you intend to bring and what the basic dimensions are so we can plan for sufficient space. Then download and print the Project Showcase entry form (see link below), fill it out completely, and bring it along with your project.
The projects can be on display all three days of the show, but must be available for at least all day Saturday. When you arrive make our staff aware that you're a Project Showcase participant and we will get you set up in the showcase. When you are ready to reclaim your project (no earlier than 5:15 PM Saturday), please see our staff again to help you check out.
