SURFACE PREPARATION AND HANDLING

Friday - 1PM, Saturday - 12PM, Sunday - 11AM
If you want to improve the overall quality of your finished projects, Jim's tips and techniques will cover the all important "first steps". Learn how surface prep, sanding, pore filling and staining will help you achieve that perfect finish.

CHOOSING JUST THE RIGHT FINISH

Friday - 2:30PM, Saturday - 2PM, Sunday - 12:30PM
Having trouble deciding which finish to use? Jim will review a variety of choices and offer techniques on how to apply them. He'll cover "Danish oil", shellac, lacquer and polyurethane. You'll see how a finish's durability can be a great reason to use it.

THE "FINAL TOUCH"

Friday - 4PM, Saturday - 4PM, Sunday - 2PM
"Finishing Your Finish" can make the difference between a good surface and a great one. Rubbing out, touch up and repair will be reviewed. Learn how a few simple tricks can make your finishes something that you'll be proud to display.
